Yay... The boy hugged me and told me he wants to hang out again because he really had fun that night (YES!) at the gym yesterday! It's great to be able to talk to him now and not do anything silly! Then Jasmin and I went for a walk on the second floor and proceeded to watch the cluster of trainers swell around the front desk. Then Jasmin got a great idea: To play Leisha ball and chuck me over the side to see if anyone would catch me. I told her know but then as we passed the desk again she called down to Jeff and said "If I throw her over, you'll catch her right?" He said yes! But the problem he doesnt know not to encourage Jasmin yet. So I told amber and she said no because it was a liability (not because it would result in death or anything...) Poor me! O well, the rest to the gym time was spent working out and watching Jeff and picking on Amber and Xtreme Cheerleader! I hope this works out!

ORLANDO, Fla. - Lou Pearlman, the man who created the Backstreet Boys and 'N Sync, was sentenced Wednesday to 25 years in federal prison for engineering a decades-long scam that bilked thousands of investors out of their life savings.

It was the maximum sentence the boy band mogul could receive for allegedly swindling some $300 million from investors and banks since the early 1980s.

He pleaded guilty in March to two counts of conspiracy and single counts of money laundering and presenting a false claim in bankruptcy court.

U.S. District Judge G. Kendall Sharp noted that many victims were Pearlman's relatives, friends and retirees in their 70s or 80s who lost everything.

"The sympathy factor just doesn't run very high with the court," Sharp said.

However, the judge said he would reduce Pearlman's sentence by one month for every $1 million returned to investors. It wasn't clear how, or if, investors would ever be compensated.

"I want to say clearly that there's no pot of gold out there," defense attorney Fletcher Peacock said.

Prosecutors allege Pearlman scammed individuals out of an estimated $200 million, and banks out of another $100 million.

The courtroom was packed with victims, some of whom gave emotional testimony. Another two dozen or so waited outside.

"Over the past nine months since my arrest, I've come to realize the harm that's been done," Pearlman said in a short courtroom statement. "I'm truly sorry and I apologize for what's happened."

Peacock said Pearlman meant to pay back all the investors, and noted he had returned about $103 million.

He said Pearlman got caught up in lawsuits - also alleged fraudulent business practices - over his otherwise successful entertainment ventures in the 1990s that prevented him from returning the money.

Wow, it's kinda hard to believe but I'm gonna be 24 on Saturday...which should be right if both Megan and Chris just turned 22. I'm just waiting for mom to call and say "You're almost a quarter of a century old!" I tell you, one day you turn twenty and are enjoying the ride and the next thing you know - the years start streaming past. The teens took forever and the twenty are moving like rapids. They need to switch or else I want remote from "Click"!Oh well, 24 is a blessing! There are quite a few who didn't get this much time so I can't complain. Here's hoping for twenty four more!

So Ashley cousin,her cousin's girlfriend and their baby came down to visit. Well the baby Kylie is about 15 and a half months old. Now, as a baby in a good sized apartment, you would want to run and play the baby was playing near Jasmin. Now Jasmin was playing her PS3 and ocassionally turning to jabber at the baby in a whole lot of blather and playing on. At about this point the innocent happy baby say the power strip the game systems are connected to and promptly reached over to pull the plug. Jasmin immediately leans over and say "Noooooooooooooo" in a slow mo sounding worried voice. Now I must stress that there was no malice in her voice but that did not stop Kylie from stopping, toppling over in the opposite direction, scrunching up her little face and bursting into baleful sobbing. Oh, Jasmin you brute. The baby cried for a good 10 minutes. Jasmin sat there going " I didnt mean to make it cry!" All the while the momma was laughing.

In a recent article from the Daily Mail, which claims crews working on Half-Blood Prince have been told the final film will be split:

A film source said: "There's so much to fit that the view is the last movie should be in two halves. There is a huge battle when Harry, played by Daniel Radcliffe, and fellow Hogwartians fight the dark forces needs to be done really well."

What's more, the Daily Mail claims that big name directors such as Steven Spielberg are being considered to direct Deathly Hallows. We'll look into this rumor and let you know what Warner Brothers has to say!

First off - ARGHH! Whew, me feel slightly better!

So this is now the week of extreme annoyance for me. Why, you ask? Because in the span of 7 days - last friday to this coming friday - all hell hath broke loose.

Last Friday - lost my bank card

Sat - Worked long shift at work

Sunday - Good picinic day, Chris is Prez, woot! YaY! (no participation in the evil doing)

Monday - Driving to work and I get a flat tire. Scared the hell out of me! Good dinner, though.

Tuesday - Find out that Kauffman's patches tires for free...yay, except my tire was punctured to close to the side and can't be patched so I have to by a new tire. So I try to use a check...it doesn't go through, I panic becasue I worry someone might have used my card before I called it in lost. So they have to take off the new tire, put on the doughtnut so I can drive to the bank to find out that there is no reason why my check shouldn't have worked and so I take out the money and go back and pay $68.48 for get my new tire. That's $70 I could've used for the holidays or for gas gone do to some dumb ass miniscule puncture.

Wednesday - Work and prep for Black Friday

Thursday - Turkey day at Jasmin's Parent house (Food, friends and Macy's day parade, YAY!)

Black Friday - Get up a 5:45 to get ready for work. Work from 6:45 - 6:00pm. 10.3 hours of crazy ass middle aged nuts swarming use for bargains and taring us to shreds.

I hate this week and it's not even over yet!

Hello friends, long time no post.

Sorry about that. Mom and Jason and Tasha came down-(ran around a bit and went to Disney)I've been practing my driving and working on organizing the big back stock room at Dillard's.But soon I will re-emerge into the world of fun. But something more important must be addressed.

My 2nd cousin TeeTee (LaTisha) is in the hospital dying right now, in Atlanta. I found out today. She's been on dialysis for 2 years now and is fighting a losing battle against both kidney infection and blood infection. TeeTee and I used to play all the time when we were litte and Jason was in the hospital. She was like my little sister. I remember afternoons spent playing with dolls, running around the yard at Aunt Mur's and her unreal amusement at Horror films (especially for Chuckie). But eventually I moved away to W.VA and she moved and this is the first news of her Ive heard in years. Sadly enough, I know that she wont make it but all I can do is pray she goes peacefully. She suffered for a long time - she was born pre-mature, due to a car accient, unfinished and enudred many operations to finish her and has been in and out f the hospital all her life. She started college but had to leave after 2 years to treatment.She is sweet and bright and was never hindered by her health from enjoying life until now. So all I ask is that those who will, may send a prayer or a wish for peace for her... that she finds it and in the beyond.

Harry Potter Theme Park Headed to Fla.

Universal Studios is opening up a Harry Potter theme park in Florida complete with the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, the Forbidden Forest and Hogsmeade village.

"The Wizarding World of Harry Potter," will open in late 2009 in Orlando, officials said Thursday.

"The plans I've seen look incredibly exciting, and I don't think fans of the books or films will be disappointed," said author J.K. Rowling, who has been working with a creative team to make sure the park resembles the books and films.

More than a dozen artists and designers lead by Stuart Craig, the production designer of the movies, have set up house in the studio where the movies are being filmed to make sure every detail is considered, according to Scott Trowbridge of Universal.

"We're really going to the people who know this world best to ensure that level of authenticity," he said.

The Potter park will allow visitors to view the iconic locations in Rowling's magical world, like Dumbledore's office in Hogwarts and the shops in Hogsmeade. Some locations may be in upcoming books, Trowbridge said.

Trowbridge said while there would not be any character lookalikes at the park, fans wanting to see Harry Potter and his magical friends wouldn't leave disappointed.

"This is Harry's world," said Trowbridge. "Most every fan wants to have an encounter with the star of the show."

The Harry Potter book series has been translated into 65 languages with more than 325 million copies sold in over 200 territories around the world.

The fifth film in the series, "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix," will be released in theatres on 13 July. The seventh and final book of the series will be released on 21 July.
